Mike LaCorte is the co-founder and CEO of Conflict International. He successfully orchestrated the merger of two London-based investigation agencies back in 2008, paving the way for Conflict International to emerge as a global leader in intelligence and international investigations. We have headquarters in Central London, with additional offices in the US, Spain, and Cyprus.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the private sector, Mike is a well-known international professional investigator. In October 2017, he was honoured to be elected as the President of the World Association of Detectives, the oldest and largest global association of its kind, boasting 1,000 investigators across over 80 countries. Notably, in 2018, he made history by being unanimously voted as the Chairman of the World Association of Detectives for three consecutive terms, a first in the association’s history.
Mike holds membership in various industry associations worldwide and has received international recognition for contributing to the investigation sector. Awards include the prestigious WAD Investigator of the Year Award presented at their annual conference in Bucharest in 2016 and The Richard-Jacques Turner Award for Excellence at the Association at the British Investigators AGM in Wales in 2019.
